Makaha is one of several spectacular beaches on
the laid back West side of Oahu. It’s best known
for it ideal surf during the winter months, so be
cautious during that season and check with the
lifeguards on surf conditions. During the summer
months, the surf conditions are usually very calm,
great for lounging around and snorkeling. Take time
to enjoy the magnificent sunsets from Makaha or any
