Beware of surf conditions during the winter surf
season, only very experienced and strong swimmers
should enter the water. A constant breeze also make
Sandy a very relaxing location to bring the family
and have a picnic, and it's also a nice place to do
some great kite flying. The beach itself is great
for beachcombing. Sandy Beach has lifeguards,
phones, showers, restrooms and picnic areas.
